Skycom is Tait Electronics largest Two-Way Radio Dealer in New Zealand, with service agents located in every major town and city. Skycom has been in business for more than 25 years formally trading as Tait Communications – Auckland Branch. The mission of Skycom is simple: to offer the lowest prices and best service on quality Mobile Radios and Accessories. Skycom always stock good inventory of Radio Equipment to suit the needs of our customers. We pride ourselves in our technical expertise and knowledge of the equipment we sell, and also the speed at which we can deliver. We also offer free programming on all euipment sold through us.

Tait Electronics is based in Christchurch and is now the largest manufacturer of Mobile Radio Equipment in the Southern Hemisphere. It has wholly owned distributors/subsidiaries in over 11 countries around the globe.

We have a staff of 10 in Auckland including 5 people in Service Support and Installation, 3 in Sales, 1 in Rentals and the remainder in Administration. We are also supported by the huge Team Structure at Tait Communications/Logic Energy both from their Auckland Representative and in Christchurch. Tait Electronics have a staff of over 800 in New Zealand so you will appreciate the depth of support available to both you our customer and us.

Skycom markets a range of Mobile Data and Fleet Management systems utilising TeamTalks Trunked Radio Network, Telecom’s CDMA/XT and Vodafone’s GPRS Data Networks. We remain Technology and Network independent in order to offer customers ‘Best Choice’ solutions depending on customer needs.
